Kim, words can't express out heartbreak over loosing such a good friend. No matter what he was struggling with he always had that contageous smile for everyone around him. Your unwavering strength though out this battle is a testiment to the woman you are and a person to be admired. Won't ever forget the smile on his face the day of the "Burn Out" in our driveway. Our rib parties will never be the same. We will truly miss his gentle spirit.
We love you and will be here if you need us.

Hi Kim, I am lost for words. I wish you can find peace in your heart. I remember the day I met you and Rick at Dale's. Both you and Rick were so nice to me and my son that we always talked about both of you. You both were special and will always be special. Rick was such a wonderful person inside and out. May he rest in peace and join my brother who is probably waiting for him. If there is anything that I could do please do not hesitate to ask. RIP Rodeo Rick

the best way for me to think back on the 19 years i knew Rick is with the story of how we met -- i had been working at Wells Fargo for about a year doing the same Fall River run with another friend when i was told that a guy named Rick Dubois who used to work there was coming back to work only if he could have the Fall River run back again - well they always needed help so they gave it to him--that first morning i thought to myself how much the day was going to be lousy because of this guy -- any way before the first hour was over my insides were hurting from him making me laugh with some of the hundred or so different voices that he could do-- that day turned out to be the beginning of a great friendship -- i can not put into words how losing Rick makes me feel but i do know that when i think of him it will be with a smile and laugh

RICK
A great friend, always loyal and fair
to friends and family here and there
he never faultered,could only care
if you had none, then he would share
if we could all be more like him
our puny world would be less grim
and when the cop did point at him
He'd burn the tire to the rim
so let us all who knew Rick well
not forget this final bell
glasses raised, as some eyes swell
he was a good man as time did tell

i have had some days to think about my friend ship with Ricky- all of us have friends and family that we have lost - some to accidents, some to health problems and i hate to say it but i have had both a family member and a friend that died at there own hand - and here we had a man that loved live so much and it just does not make sense- if i had just met Rick at some party for one night i would have felt lucky to say that i had - but it was much more then that he was a friend for a very long time and any one that can have a friend like him only happens once in a life time - i am not saying that i care about any of my other friend any less but Ricky and i talked for lots of hours while he was sick and never did we talk about what would happen if he did not make it or what have believed happens after death for me doing that would have been like giving up so we talked about things we were going to do together to change his Harley to make it easier for him to ride i will never forget this special Man that i will always be glad to call my friend until we see each other again your friend Evan

its been 8 months since rick has left our lives. and i hate that he is gone, but he will surely never be forgotten. he was an amazing father to me and an amazing husband, brother, grandfather, son, or anything anyone could ever ask for. why he was taken i have no idea, but i know i wish he had never left. before rick got sick he told me he wished he didn't have to work , because he got tired working so much, and i told him to be careful what he wishes for. and pretty soon after that he got sick. i know i will never forgt him and he will forever be apart of me. i wanted him to walk me down the isle when i got older, but sadly it isn't going to happen. everytime i talk about you i see the monarch butterly, the butterfly was there at the slowrace, i saw one when they crowned him king, i know for a fact he is watching over every single one of us. i think of you each and everyday rick. i miss you and i love you with all my heart.
